Vembanad Lake
Vembanad Kayal, which covers an enormous area of more than 2,000 square kilometers, is situated in Kerala and is bordered by the districts of Kottayam, Alappuzha, and Ernakulam. It acts as the entrance to Kerala's backwaters. The tiny, picturesque islands of Pathiramanal, Perumbalam, and Pallippuram are encircled by the Vembanad Lake.
Vembanad Kayal and the neighboring districts, which are known for their easygoing lifestyle, let you unwind in the midst of nature. As was already indicated, you must take a houseboat cruise while on Vembanad Lake. Canoe rides are also another significant draw. Tourists are also permitted to partake in sports like boating and fishing in specific lake regions. You can also see the neighborhood fishermen bringing in the catfish with just their hands.
Another well-liked pastime is bird watching because the lake is a haven for many migratory birds, which is a breathtaking sight. Enjoy the breathtaking vistas of soaring birds against a backdrop of lush coconut palms and clear blue lakes. For an additional treat of orange and red sky colors against blue seas, you may also reserve a sunset boat at the lake. You'll remember the peaceful moment for the rest of your life.
