Big South Regatta is the most famous festival in the Fishing Capital of Turks & Caicos, Big South Regatta also known as the South Caicos Regatta - is the premier regatta of the year in a country crazy about sailing. Held in May, the Big South Regatta is a four-day party surrounded by boat and speedboat races. Watch races from land or sea, then kick back and enjoy the concerts, dancing, beauty pageants, and sometimes even donkey races that have been part of the fun since 1967.
