Fool's Regatta

Fool's Regatta held every May or June weekend is known as the most famous festival in the Turks and Caicos Islands with traditional yachts open to amateurs and semi-professionals. On the shore, there is nightly entertainment, including live music and cultural programs, plenty to keep everyone in attendance. The regatta is held in South Caicos, easily accessible from the main island of Providenciales.

Fool's Regatta is the perfect occasion to launch a race of anything between homemade rafts, and even though the race is already held in the summer months. At this most famous festival, in addition to the main event, there are Hobie cat races, competitions between local sloops, kids' activities, and of course food and drinks. Held at the Children's Park at the west end of Grace Bay Beach.
