A calm color choice (grey with yellow accents), vintage furnishings, and cheery images on the long side wall make this place modest but aesthetically pleasing to look at. The staff always seems to include at least one of the two owners, who are both incredibly skilled yet socially apathetic. With their obvious excitement for coffee, catering, and clients, they create a stir in the area.

Down to infants and young children, you'll typically find a diverse audience. The warm banana bread, which regulars claim to be irresistible, is one of the bakery's best offerings. The same may be said with sandwiches. And the coffee? You'll enjoy this business if you enjoy espresso because it uses Climpson & Sons beans, which are like nirvana in a cup. The baristas take as much care with their equipment as they would with a Maserati, and that level of perfection encapsulates everything Birdhouse does.
