Bladefin Basslet
Let Toplist introduce you to the bladefin basslet if you thought angelfish lived at great depths. Only submarines can collect this little beauty because it lives at depths of 800 feet. On the rare occasions when they have been apprehended, they have frequently died in transit, making those who do survive the journey extremely valuable. This raises the price of the fish.
It has a lovely orange and white pattern with thick columns of both colors alternating across its body. They live naturally in the Atlantic but are mostly found in the Caribbean. This fish costs around 8,000 USD. The long, thin fins used for swimming give these fish their name.
With their distinctive blade-like fins and eye-catching color patterns, they are difficult to distinguish from other fish in an aquarium store. However, you should not expect to see it very often. Due to their small size, basslets are generally good tank mates and will add a nice splash of color to your tank. They do not pick fights.
