Peppermint Angelfish

The peppermint angelfish is frequently referred to as the "Holy Grail" of home aquariums. It is desired by both hobbyists and serious aquarium collectors. Because of its lower price, it is more accessible to a wider range of people and aquariums.

It lives at depths of 300 feet or greater, making it difficult to catch safely. The South Pacific Ocean is its natural habitat. So far, no breeding has been successful on a large enough scale to have an impact on the availability of this fish. They grow to be about 1.5 inches long and require at least a medium-sized tank. These small fish have a much more reasonable price tag of 30,000 USD. This makes them the first fish on this list that is actually semi-affordable.

It has a beautiful red body with white stripes running vertically down the length of it. The peppermint angelfish got its name from its candy-cane coloring. It has a row of spiny-looking fins down its back and a scraggy appearance in general. In the United States, this fish is restricted but not illegal.

Angelfish, because they prefer to occupy the upper parts of a tank, make excellent tank mates. So get fish that prefer the lower tank regions to share with them.
