Brilliant Legacy (2009)
Brilliant Legacy is a 2009 South Korean television series starring Han Hyo-joo, Lee Seung-gi, Bae Soo-bin and Moon Chae-won. It was among the top-rated Korean dramas of the year; it maintained its number one spot in the viewership rating chart for 20 consecutive weeks and reached a peak rating of 47.1% for its last episode. Lee Seung-gi hit the pinnacle of his career and became known as one of the top actors when he appeared in Brilliant Legacy. Lee Seung-gi portrays Hwan Sun-woo in this drama, with numerous other well-known and skilled actors, including Han Hyo-joo (as Go Eun-sung), Yeon Joon-seok (as Eun-woo), and Jang Sook-ja (played as Ban Hyo-jung).
There are several narrative twists in the drama Brilliant Legacy as a result of Go Eun-sung's wonderful tale when he becomes acquainted with Hwan Sun-woo. Go Eun-sung once saved a grandma who was unconscious after tumbling down the stairs. The grandma turned out to be the President and Director of the Jin-sung food firm, while the grandmother was actually Hwan Sun-woo's grandmother. The entire narrative and battle began when the grandmother regained her memories and said that Go Eun-sung would be the successor of Jin-sung Food, formerly Hwan Sun-woo.
