Vagabond (2019)
Vagabond is a 2019 South Korean television series starring Lee Seung-gi, Bae Suzy, and Shin Sung-rok. It aired on SBS TV from September 20 to November 23, 2019, for 16 episodes. Each episode was released on Netflix in South Korea and internationally after its television broadcast. Lee Seung-gi plays Cha Dal-gun, a stuntman whose nephew Cha Hoon was killed in the B357 aircraft disaster, which was the result of a ring of terrorists and governmental machinations seeking to cover it up. Dal-gun joins forces with Hae-ri and the NIS to investigate and, ultimately, bring them to justice.
In the aftermath of his nephew's death in a mysterious plane crash, Cha Dal Gun transforms into an awakened tiger. He had raised his nephew on his own as an orphan in lieu of his brother, who had died. He embarks on a trip to find the truth after being triggered by the large-scale cover-up of the catastrophe. Go Hae Ri is the eldest daughter of a marine who died during a surgical procedure. She had always intended to be a regular civil servant to support her family, but life had other ideas for her, and she ends up working for the National Intelligence Service (NIS). Their lives become intertwined as they uncover a labyrinth of corruption behind the plane catastrophe.
