Cala di Trana
Cala di Trana is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, located in Punta Sardegna (Palau), perfect for those looking for absolute tranquility and above all for those who like to go out to sea through scenic paths. The trekking route is about 45 minutes, about 3.5 km among the rocks and trees, of medium-low difficulty, not suitable for young children, families with strollers, and animals. It is recommended to wear sports shoes with a good water supply if you stop at the beach. Walk among breathtaking rocks, vineyards, wind-modified trees, and reach the top of beautiful dunes. Behind the beach, there are tall fragrant dunes covered with lighthouses and a bed of reeds. In the eastern part, the rocks have formed a small "puddle" of transparent water.
The beach is not very busy, about 200m wide, the sand tends to turn a very wild pink, overlooking a perfectly crystallized sea. It is very charming, with beautiful scenery on the islands of Spargi and La Maddalena.
It is not only a seaside destination but also a vast experience. Stop at the magnificent Talmone cove and a cultural visit to the nearby FAI military batteries, Great refuge for westerly days.
