Celery
Celery stalks and leaves- both parts of the celery plant can be used to replace coriander leaves. Again, the flavor is not the same as cilantro, but it will certainly outperform it in any meal. The stalks and leaves of celery are crisp and have a mild, somewhat sweet flavor with a herbal scent. Celery seeds, on the other hand, have a warm, bitter, harsh, and powerful flavor. So, when replacing cilantro with celery, use the stalks and leaves.
When substituting, use the same amount of coriander as celery. When it comes to replacing cilantro, it typically works well with prepared meals. If you find the flavor too mild, add the amount of celery. However, it is always a matter of personal preference. This herb has a low glycemic index and is high in antioxidants, which help to decrease inflammation and aid digestion.
