Chilly Bar and Restaurant

Chilly Bar and Restaurant - one of the best restaurants in Nepal, managed by two Pokhara-based brothers, Bishow and Visma Raj Paudel, was established in 2009 on the Phewa Tal lakeshore. The menu includes burgers, salads, soups, and pastas, as well as traditional Nepali dishes like bhatmas sandeko (spicy fried soya beans), paneer butter masala, and Phewa Tal ko machha, a local specialty cooked using lake-caught fish.

The three-story structure has ground-floor indoor eating, a first-floor bar, and a lovely rooftop garden dining space. Chilly's great position on the lakeside of Pokhara, a popular base for climbers visiting the Annapurna range, provides wonderful Himalayan vistas. On a clear day, tourists may see the sacred Annapurna range peak, Machapuchare, which translates as "fishtail peak."
