The original name of Coach was Gail Leather Products in New York, USA because it was initially opened as a family-scale business to create the best quality handmade leather products. In 1946, Gail Leather Products and Miles & Lillian Cahn - a company specializing in the production of leather wallets - cooperated, opening a new turning point in the fashion world.
