Fendi
The Fendi brand originated from a small boutique selling skin and fur of an ordinary but fashion-loving woman in Italy. Her name is Adele Casagrande, born in 1897. In 1925, Adele married Edoar do Fendi so she changed the name of her small shop to Fendi.
There are 5 daughters including Paola, Anna, Franca, Carla, and Alda in the family Fendi. After their parents passed away, the five daughters took over Fendi's business and began to expand it. They worked together, Paola owned the leather goods line, Anna designed bags and other accessories, Fraca ran the suitcase and leather goods stores, Alda managed the fur store, Carla was the general consultant, and Karl Lagerfeld designed the costumes. The first product line that the 5 Fendi sisters introduced that set the world on fire was fur. They have combined youthfulness with bold innovations that give classic fur coats a charm of their own.
Fendi has over 117 stores worldwide, headquartered in Rome, Italy. The company that sells luxury goods – Fendi, is the ninth most valuable luxury brand in the world, with a brand value of $3.6 billion.
