Come Dine With Me (2005-present)
Come Dine with Me is a British reality television series narrated by Dave Lamb that has aired on Channel 4 since January 10, 2005. There are 45 series as of July 2020. Over the course of 45 seasons, you can witness some of the worst cooking ever, adults having toddler-like meltdowns over losing, and even an adult man deep-throwing a whisk... Yes, indeed. Why would they subject themselves to this? They're all competing for the chance to win £1000, in addition to providing us with some of the most iconic TV moments of all time. The show features five amateur chefs who live in the same town or area and each host a three-course dinner party at their own home for the other contestants. During the taxi ride home, each competitor rates the host's food and hosting skills, with the highest-scoring chef winning £1,000 in cash. The show frequently features guests with opposing personalities.
The episodes featuring the same group of chef contestants air in order. Rather than five chefs, the early series featured groups of four. Dave Lamb provides narration, which occasionally includes sarcastic comments about the chefs' food and the interior design.
