Conservation International (CI)
Conservation International works to highlight and secure the critical benefits that nature provides to humanity. Since its beginning, CI have helped to protect more than 6 million square kilometers (2.3 million square miles) of land and sea across more than 70 countries.
CI works with scientists, communities and practitioners of conservation, global biodiversity and human communities. It is committed to protecting natural resources, promoting sustainable business and fostering good governance. CI has helped create, expand and improve management of nearly 50 million acres of marine and terrestrial reserves, and through data collection, more than 1,400 new species have been discovered in science.
