Food & Water Watch is a Washington, DC-based, non-governmental group with offices in Los Angeles, California, with a focus on corporate and government responsibility for food, water and corporate abuse. Areas of concern as a result include halting fossil fuels and fossil fuel extraction, regulating industrial farms, protecting renewable energy, addressing water privatization, ending bad trade deals, making food systems more transparent, and protecting human rights. The organization was founded in 2005 by public citizen employees.
