Crash Landing on You (2019)

Crash Landing on You is a South Korean television series that premiered in 2019-2020 and was written by Park Ji-eun, directed by Lee Jeong-hyo, and starred Hyun Bin, Son Ye-jin, Kim Jung-hyun, and Seo Ji-hye. It tells the story of a successful South Korean businesswoman and chaebol heiress who, while paragliding near Seoul, South Korea, is swept up in a sudden storm, crashes lands in the North Korean portion of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), and meets an army captain in the Korean People's Army who decides to help her hide. Despite the difference and controversies between their respective countries, they grow in love over time.

Yoon Se Ri (Son Ye-jin), a South Korean heiress, crashes landings in North Korea after a paragliding mishap. She encounters North Korean army commander Ri Jung Hyuk (Hyun Bin) there, who promises to assist her in returning to South Korea. Despite the tensions between their countries, the two begin to fall in love.
