Don't Look Back: The Legend of Orpheus (2013)

Han Yi-soo’s (Kim Nam-gil) father is the chauffeur of the owners of Gaya Hotel Group, the family of Jo Hae-woo (Son Ye-jin). The driver is convinced to accept responsibility for a hit-and-run accident caused by the family's inebriated son. However, when he changes his mind, he is assassinated before he can recant. Yi-soo, then a high school student, attempts to discover the truth and clear his father. He dials Hae-woo, his first love, but the phone box is purposefully rammed by a vehicle. Following the assassination attempt, Yi-soo vanishes and finds up in Japan, where he is adopted by Yoshimura Junichiro (Lee Jae-gu), a wealthy and prominent Japanese-Korean businessman.

He returns to Korea 12 years later, with a new identity as Japanese-Korean businessman Yoshimura Jun and well-planned intentions. Hae-woo, who thought Yi-soo was dead, became a prosecutor to find out what happened to him. She marries Oh Joon-young (Ha Seok-jin), the son of Chief Prosecutor Oh Hyun-shik (Jung Won-Joon), and a childhood friend of Yi-soo. No one in Korea, including Hae-woo, recognizes Yi-soo, despite his continuous attempts to see Hae-woo, and even after Hae-woo knows Yi-soo is still alive. Yi-soo and Hae-woo are torn between love and vengeance.
