Also considered a famous studio in the animation industry today, Dream Works started operating in 1994 and is run by Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and David Geffen. Dream Works ' films are different from other studios in strong, liberal drawings. Currently, this studio is also under the control of Viacom Corporation. In 2000, DreamWorksestablished a new business division, DreamWorks Animation. On October 27, 2004, this business division became a commercial company named DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. and is managed by Katzenberg. On January 31, 2006, DreamWorks Animation entered into an agreement with Paramount Pictures, granting Paramount the rights to the worldwide distribution of all animated films, including the immediately preceding film and the 13 subsequent films for to December 31, 2012.
