Dried Fruits
Dry fruit is a form of dehydrated fruit. Most of its moisture content is removed naturally or through some dehydrating method. Fruit that has been dried is very nutrient-dense and has a significant amount of fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Dry fruits are rich in carbohydrates and dietary fiber. As a result, they are one of the best snacking options.
Additionally, compared to fresh fruit, it is a pantry staple that is healthier and has a far longer shelf life. Mangos, cranberries, and apricots are some examples of dried fruits that can be kept for up to six months. They can be used for another six months after being unsealed if you keep them in the refrigerator. Remember that dried fruit should only be consumed in moderation as it contains more calories and sugar than fresh fruit. To reduce added sugar intake, choose dried fruit that hasn't been sweetened whenever possible.
