Enka Schools
Enka Schools, founded in Istanbul in 1996, shine as models for exceptional education both locally and globally. Serving students from Pre-K to grade 12, mostly Turkish citizens, with 10% having dual citizenship, they prioritize global awareness and academic excellence. The school fosters leadership and responsibility while teaching in Turkish, English, and a third language from grades 5–12.
At Enka, a diverse community promotes bilingual professionalism and embraces IB principles. It was the first Turkish school authorized to offer the IB Primary Years Program (PYP), blending it with the Turkish National Curriculum for primary students.
Enka Schools grants students the Turkish National Diploma, following national curriculum requirements with English-taught math and science. For grades 11 and 12, students can pursue the globally recognized International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP), choosing from various subjects focusing on critical thinking and inquiry-based learning.
The school's co-curricular activities, boasting almost 70 clubs and 30 after-school options, cater to diverse interests, from the Duke of Edinburgh International Award to robotics, drama, and Model United Nations (MUN).
