Uskudar American Academy
Established way back in 1876, the Uskudar American Academy (UAA) holds a special place among Turkey's top schools. With close to 140 years behind them, the focus here isn't just on academics. Last year, about 160 graduates took the Turkish university entrance exam, and 26 of them scored among the top 1000. And get this: almost half of their students go on to study at universities abroad every year, some even landing scholarships in places like Oxford, Yale, and Harvard.
Since 2014, they've been offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), a mix of different subjects that lets students dive deep into topics they like while keeping a wide range of subjects in their curriculum. Currently, Uskudar American Academy has become one of the best IB schools in Turkey. This program has helped students open the door to the world of leading universities around the globe.
