Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks
The Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks are a Japanese professional baseball team based in Fukuoka. Founded in 1938 and was the first Kansai team to compete in Osaka. They were members of the Pacific League when they competed in the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB).
The Hawks have played in the Japan Series 20 different times. Championships were also won in 1946 and 1948 when the team was based in Osaka. They have many fans who are mostly young and new to the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks stage name. The Hawks also have a record of winning at home many times and are respectable.
In 2022, the Hawks announced to the media that they had established a new yon-gun team (third farm team), becoming the first team in NPB to begin operations in the third farm team, starting competition match in 2023.
