The Yomiuri Giants are the most famous and most-watched baseball team in Japan. In addition, the Yomiuri Giants are also known as Kyojin. Headquartered in Bunkyo, Tokyo. They have been playing their specialty sport at their home in Tokyo Dome since opening in 1988. The team's owner is Yomiuri Shimbun Holdings, Japan's largest media conglomerate that also owns two newspapers and the Nippon Television Network.

The Yomiuri Giants track record includes 22 Japan Series titles and nine titles in the predecessor era of the NPB, the Japan Baseball League. When entering to see the team perform, you will be provided with tickets. If there are no seats, you can only buy tickets at an affordable price of ¥1,000 to stand and watch.

The name and uniform of the Yomiuri Giants are based on the image of the Giants of New York. The team colors have orange and black tones inspired by the colors of the Giants of the National League. Even the lettering on the jerseys and caps is similar to the one the Giants used when they played in New York.
