goodboybob
GoodboyBob stands apart from the sea of specialty coffee shops in Los Angeles for its lack of pretense, superb, carefully curated food menu, and, of course, the shop's extremely fantastic coffee. You'd be hard-pressed not to eat their Rolex chapati—a twist on Goodboybob's on a basic egg breakfast burrito—at any of the three locations in Santa Monica, Culver City, or Manhattan Beach. A serving of tangy housemade spicy sauce is provided with each flatbread wrap the size of a high-end watch. Attention pour-over drinkers: goodboybob's Citizen Public Market location in Culver City offers a variety of single-origin espresso drinks with accompanying tasting notes.
In the real world, goodboybob will sell locally roasted coffee in glass cylinders, Song Teas, nitro cold brew, Sugarbloom Bakery sweets, and a daily rotating menu of sandwiches made with Gjusta bread. The cafe will also include "a modest collection of Joiner's favorite things," including leather briefcases, Joseph Bentley garden sheers, and "a variety of other curated rotating artifacts, all for sale," according to the news announcement.
