Green Island

The Green Island is a man-made island in Kuwait, located off the shore of the promenade in Kuwait City. It first opened its doors in 1988 and quickly became a popular tourist destination. It is the Persian Gulf's very first man-made island. Not only that, but it's also a picnic place and a waterside park. It is undeniable that this is one of the most beautiful islands in Kuwait.

Green Island is a small island off the coast of Kuwait, began as a reclaimed piece of land that was later changed into an island. It spans from Al-Shiwaikh to Ras Alard along the shoreline. The sand and rocks are brought in from various countries. Tourists can partake in activities such as swimming, amphitheater, tourist tower, restaurants, and a children's play area.
