Umm Al Namil Island
Umm al Namil is a Kuwaiti island in the Persian Gulf, located within Kuwait Bay. At its closest point, the island is 600 meters (2,000 ft) from Kuwait's mainland.
Because of the high quantity of ants discovered at its discovery, Umm Al Namil Island is also known as the "Mother of Ants."
