However, there is no one like Jean – Baptiste, and this film is truly a work of art.

He Even Has Your Eyes depicts the story of a young black couple who adopt a white newborn boy with blue eyes. Even though there are mixed families and trans-racial adoptions all over the world, the element of surprise when a black couple is seen with a white kid highlights the ridiculousness of today's society. The primary character is the mother, Salimata, who, along with her husband Paul, strives to deal with the difficulties of adopting a white child while dealing with family displeasure. The director's magnificent feat here is that he was able to make an enjoyable film despite the serious nature of the subject matter.
