High Kick! The Revenge of the Short Legged (2011)
A South Korean comedy called High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged ran from 2011 to 2012. It studied the lives of those who are down and out and how they manage to rehabilitate by focusing on the lives of the Ahn family and their neighbors. The narrative starts in 2041, the year Lee Juck published his best-selling book "High Kick: Revenge of the Short-legged." The main theme of the novel, which details his interactions with the Ahn and Ji-won families, is their financial plight. The author of the narrative, Lee Juck, tells the tale.
The cousin of Ha Sun is Kim Ji-won. At separate times in her life, both of her parents passed away. Although she later in the series acquires a better phone when her former phone broke, she still uses an outdated mobile phone since it has every message and pictures her father ever sent her. She is a socially and academically bright individual who also has a keen sense of others' emotions and a desire to lift their spirits. Despite her elders' objections due to her narcolepsy, she enjoys riding her scooter. Though in the series she subsequently opted not to travel, it was hinted in the last episode that she "then stepped out of the classroom to pursue what genuinely makes her happy" despite her strong affection for Kye-Sang and her commitment to accompany him to Rwanda. The home that Ha-Sun, Jin-Hee, and Julien reside in is her inheritance.
