Hodeidah University

The earliest nucleus of the university was the College of Education in Hodeidah, which was created in 1987/1988 and was associated with Sana'a University at the time. It is a member of the Association of Arab Universities. Its mission is to prepare qualified, well-trained cadres who will contribute to the growth of numerous sectors. The university began with a small faculty, but as it grew in prominence, it was able to satisfy the needs of society by expanding quality colleges and unusual specialities. A number of academic and specialized centers were founded as a result of the university's growth.

Until the 2019/2020 academic year, the university was made up of seventeen colleges, including 10 quality colleges and six specialized scientific centers that contribute to research and consultation. Scientific studies to connect the university with the community and its institutions in a variety of subjects, where the university awards a master's degree in addition to a bachelor's degree.Through institutional leadership, excellent educational programs, a dynamic learning environment, skilled academic cadres, and an effective community cooperation, Hodeidah University delivers exceptional higher education that fulfills development requirements and satisfies academic standards.
