Queen Arwa University
Queen Arwa University is a Yemeni private university named after Queen Arwa and created in 1996. Humanities and social sciences, commercial sciences and administration, engineering, science, higher education, art, law, and microbiology are among the university's several subjects of study.
In January 1996, Queen Arwa University was founded. The Ministry of Education and the Council of Higher Education Resolution No.1 recognized it. With the foundation of the Yemeni International Languages Institute in 1989, the first license was gained. The International Yemeni Institute for Development was founded in 1994 by the institute. The College of Technical Sciences, the university's first college, was founded in 1995.
The university's key goals are as follows: (1) In collaboration with other educational institutions, developing a variety of specialist courses in higher education. (2) Providing professionals in many areas of development to other social and scientific institutions, notably in the domains of Women Studies, Environmental Studies, and Population Sciences. (3) Implementing educational programs that help pupils to stay up with technological, artistic, and scientific breakthroughs. (4) Developing cultural and scientific relations and exchanges with Arab and international universities, institutes, and scientific institutions.
