Another important festival in Turkey is the International Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival, which is held every year. The event is held at the almost 2000-year-old Roman Aspendos Theatre, which is located just outside of Antalya. Aspendos is one of the most well-preserved theaters in the world, hosting some of the world's top opera and ballet groups.
