iRobot Roomba i3+ Robot Vacuum

The iRobot Roomba i3+ Robot Vacuum is the company's most cheap alternative, including automatic dirt disposal that automatically empties the vacuum's trash. The disposable dust bag is simply replaced every month or two.

The i3+ gathered up all of the coffee grounds, kitty litter, and pet hairs we placed out on the carpet, leaving only around 5% of the flour behind – the best performance of all of the robot vacuums we tested. It came within an inch of the wall in certain spots, but left nearly half of the flour behind.

On hardwood floors, it did better, gathering up all of the coffee grounds and cat hair and leaving only 5% of the kitty litter and 10% of the flour behind. During its cleaning sessions, the robot vacuum did not become stuck.Unlike some robot vacuums that detect carpeting and raise suction, the i3+ provides steady powerful suction and automatically does additional runs when it finds excess dirt.

It just takes approximately 10 minutes to set up, including connecting to the user-friendly app. Because the app does not allow you to create no-go zones, you will have to purchase virtual wall barriers. The barriers perform as claimed, but at roughly $40 each, I prefer to keep the Roomba out of areas I want to protect using everyday household objects.

The other negative with the i3+ is its excessive volume.
