iRobot Roomba s9+ Robot Vacuum

The Roomba s9+ Robot Vacuum, being iRobot's top-of-the-line model, is jam-packed with capabilities. It self-empties and is accompanied by an app that allows you to easily schedule cleanings, create no-go zones, and personalize your cleaning experience. It can even be used with the iRobot Braava Jet M6 (sold separately) to mop once the vacuum cycle is completed.

In tests, the Roomba s9+ outperformed all other robot vacuums on hardwood floors. Only a trace of flour remained after the cleaning cycle. Its D-shaped design came within a half-inch of the corner, grabbing whatever it could. On carpeting, the performance was still good with only around 10% of the flour remained, 5% of the kitty litter left, and no coffee grounds or pet hairs identified following testing. The unit also did not become stuck in our testing area.

The s9+ was by far the loudest model tested, with a maximum suction power of 77 dB (about the same as a busy city street), and even in silent mode, the vacuum is audible.

The vacuum also came within an inch of the carpeted corner. However, it left roughly 70% of the flour behind, implying that it isn't as effective at picking up tiny debris on carpeting, particularly in locations where the main brushes can't reach.
