Iruppu Falls
The Brahmagiri Range in Karnataka, India's Kodagu district, which borders Kerala's Wayanad district, is where the Irupu Falls are located. A freshwater cascade can be seen 48 kilometers from Virajpet on the way to Nagarhole. The alternate name for the falls, Lakshmana Tirtha Falls, was inspired by the name of the Cauvery River branch that rises from the falls, the Lakshmana Tirtha River. A forest trail connects these falls with Southern Kodagu's Brahmagiri Peak. Irupu Falls is a revered location as well as a well-liked tourist destination. On the Lakshmana Tirtha River's banks, close to the Falls, is the well-known Shiva temple Rameshwara Temple.
The waterfalls are at their most beautiful and full of water during the monsoon season, making it the greatest time to view them. The distances between Irupu and Bangalore, Mangalore, and Mysore are 260, 240, and 120 kilometers, respectively. Virajpet is 48 kilometers away. Access to the Falls is provided by the road that leads from Gonikopal to Nagarhole National Park, which leaves the Kutta Road at Srimangala.
