Sathodi Falls
Do not overlook Sathodi Falls when compiling a list of waterfalls in Karnataka. The Sathodi Falls, which are formed by several streams, drop 50 feet. The fall, which is close to Dandeli, is frequently referred to by locals as "Mini Niagara". Try swimming in the pool that the waterfall has created. Since the roads get worse during the rainy season, it is best to avoid making any plans to visit this waterfall during that time.
The beautiful waterfall wind through the forest, and from the entrance and parking area to the falls themselves, it takes around 20 minutes to enjoy a half-kilometer pleasant walk. You can clearly hear the sound of flowing water after a 10-minute walk. You must move gently because the path to the waterfall is very small. The waterfall is active all year round. There is a natural pool near the waterfall where people can go swimming. The waterfall is captivating enough, and the drive from Yellapur to the waterfalls is a fun ride through the jungle. This path can only be used by vehicles with high ground clearance. After tumbling, the water from this fall merges with the Kodasalli dam's backwaters.
