Juno (2007)
Juno, a 2007 coming-of-age comedy-drama film directed by Jason Reitman and written by Diablo Cody, might be a coming-of-age comedy-drama. Elliot Page[a] plays the title character, a self-assured adolescent confronted with an unexpected pregnancy and the events that follow, which force adult life expectations on her.
Juno won Best Original Screenplay and was nominated for three other prizes, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Page, who is just 20 years old (the fifth-youngest nominee within the category). The film's soundtrack, which featured several songs sung by Kimya Dawson in many guises, was the first to reach number one since Dreamgirls and Fox Searchlight's debut.
