Kiroli Park - West Monroe
The name Kiroli Park combines the first two letters of the Kiwanis, Rotary, and Lions clubs, who bought the property in 1925 to donate to the Boy Scouts of America as a camp. Kiroli Park has 150 acres of breathtaking natural scenery. Several playgrounds, a special conservatory, a dog park, tennis courts, several gardens, picnic spaces, fishing ponds, and hiking paths are all located inside the park. The majority of the park is covered in trees and is reachable via paved roads and paths that have unexpected features including a covered bridge, suspension bridge, observation tower, and high walkways.
The magnificent lodge at Kiroli Park is ideal for hosting sizable indoor gatherings. Two fireplaces, central heating and air conditioning, and a fully functional kitchen are just a few of the lodge's features. Additional picnic shelters are available for a small cost and are excellent for birthday celebrations.
The cost to register a dog is $10 ($5 if you have an annual pass to Kiroli Park). The Kiroli Park Gatehouse has registration forms accessible, and you can register your dog there during business hours.
