La Cornue
La Cornue is one of the world’s most luxurious brands of French that manufacturing oven and cooking range. The company is based in France. La Cornue delivers highly sought after kitchen pieces which provide state of the art quality for those looking for gastronomic perfection. The company currently produces three types of ovens: CornuChef, Château, and CornuFé .
La Cornue founded in 1908 by Albert Dupuy. In order to create a furnace using a new type of natural gas being used in Paris, Albert Dupuy researched and founded La Cornue. He was able to create a much more effective oven than the others at the time by taking advantage of the circulation of hot air within the oven. The first oven was called Rôtisseuse-Pâtissiere La Cornue (La Cornue Roast and Pastry cook).In the 1950s, Dupuy was succeeded by André Dupuy and the company was modernised. At this time, the 5 Etoiles (5 Star) range was also introduced. In 1985, the company was further modernised following the takeover of Xavier Dupuy.
La Cornue's marketing and public relations services are provided by Oliver & York. At the same time, Oliver & York runs major events and activities including the recent La Cornue Chateau Jubilee. 50 years on, the noble and precious La Cornue design has a guest book of names including Pablo Picasso, Charlie Chaplin, Karl Largerfeld, George Clooney, Kylie Minogue, Brad Pitt,etc.
