La Digue Festival

When considering the most famous festivals of Seychelles, one would have to recommend the La Digue Festival. The La Digue Festival, celebrated annually to commemorate the Feast of the Assumption on August 15, is one of the most anticipated yearly events with hundreds flocking to the beautiful island of La Digue for the festivities. Traditional religious activities, as well as various athletic events and musical entertainment, making residents and tourists entertained.

Throughout the day of the La Digue Festival, local merchants were on hand selling a wide range of products. Between 1 pm and 5 pm, a large number of cultural and sports events were organized, providing a great chance for the entire family to take part in a competitive spirit exhibition. It features traditional religious activities and a whole host of sporting activities and musical entertainment that kept locals and tourists delight.
