Semaine de la Francophonie is one of the most famous festivals in Seychelles. As the name suggests, this is a celebration in Seychelles of all things French due to the fact that Seychelles’ culture is heavily influenced by its French history.

Semaine de la Francophonie is a French culture celebration that takes place in the middle of March. It is a similar entity to that which is enjoyed in Franco-influenced places across the globe. The week-long event is celebrated on Mahé Island and comprises an array of art exhibitions and literary readings, as well as French music, song, fashion, and cuisine.
