Lagunas de Ruidera
A collection of tiny lakes known as the Lagunas de Ruidera may be found in Campo de Montiel, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, between the provinces of Albacete and Ciudad Real. By the standards of other lakes in the Iberian Peninsula, the majority of the lakes are connected, and their combined water volume may exceed 23.06 hm3.
Laguna Colgada and Laguna del Rey are the two biggest lakes. Small hotels, eateries, campgrounds, and private villas are all present in or close to Ruidera town in the area of the lakes, which is a popular tourist destination. Ossa de Montiel or Villahermosa are the closest cities to the area.
The first natural lake encountered along the journey is Cenagosa, which is accompanied by a constant cacophony of birds because the reeds and bullrushes that line its shoreline are the ideal hiding places for a variety of ducks. The next lake is La Colgadilla, which gets a lot of its water from the massive cave-cumulus-storage deposit known as the Cueva de la Morenilla through underground filtration.
