Leeds Castle, Broomfield, Kent
Leeds Castle is unquestionably one of the prettiest and best-preserved castles in England and one of the top tourist attractions in Kent. Around 1280, a larger castle was constructed on the site of an even older one. With a vast moat and a rural setting, it has a remarkably romantic appearance from all directions.
Due to the variety of activities available on the grounds, such as adventure golf, playgrounds, and falconry, it's a great choice for history buffs and families with young children. Despite its lengthy history, the castle is still rather contemporary, featuring a variety of excellent restaurants and stores. Visitors can engage in a range of entertaining activities, such as medieval fairs and craft shows, jousting tournaments, a land train, as well as experiences like ziplining and Segway excursions, in addition to tours of the castle's exquisite interiors. Leeds Castle has established itself as a renowned location for classical music, hosting crowds of music lovers for its renowned outdoor concert each summer.
