Lomma Beach
Lomma is a tiny village located around 20 minutes north of Malmö. A huge harbour and marina may be found here, as well as a lovely, sandy beach. The beach at Lomma spans for several hundred meters down the coast. It is made up of magnificent fine white sand that flows behind it into low grassy dunes. The sea is frequently a vivid blue color, and the contrast with the sand conjures up visions of far-flung exotic locales.
In the summer, Lomma Norra Badplats, to give it its full name, is a favorite destination for families with young children. The water is shallow for a considerable distance out, making it quite safe for paddlers. This also helps to keep the water pleasantly heated - at least in the summer! You may walk out along the southern end of the harbour wall for a magnificent view of the beach. Along this stretch, you can also locate a wonderful peaceful location away from the people and out of the wind.
