Varamon Beach
Varamon Beach (Varamobaden) is the longest lakeside beach in Sweden, stretching over 3 kilometers along Lake Vättern in Motala. However, what it lacks in length, it makes up for in width, with a raised promenade and various lawn sections somewhat compensating. Due to its proximity to the town, there is no shortage of amenities, including a variety of cafes and restaurants. It's an excellent area for families because the water is clean and shallow. It's especially safe because it's a lacke, and it's perfect for activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, and, of course, windsurfing.
Volleyball and football are accessible on the beach, as well as playgrounds, mini golf, and tennis, all of which are located behind the beach. This is a popular vacation location, with a variety of camp sites, guest homes, and hotels in the region. On the negative side, this means that it can get rather crowded during the summer, but the beach is long enough to absorb the crowds.
