Love in the Moonlight (2016)
South Korean television program Love in the Moonlight stars Park Bo-gum, Kim Yoo-jung, Jung Jinyoung, Kwak Dong-yeon, and Chae Soo-bin. Based on the novel Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, which was initially serialized on Naver in 2013 and then released as a five-part series of books in 2015, it is a coming-of-age tale and young love story set during the Joseon Dynasty in the nineteenth century. It has 18 episodes that aired on KBS2 every Monday and Tuesday at 22:00 (KST) from August 22, 2016, to October 18, 2016.
The television show follows the development of Crown Prince Lee Yeong (Park Bo-gum) from a young kid into a cherished king and his odd bond with Hong Ra-on (Kim Yoo-jung). As Lee Yeong, Park Bo-gum He is the King's lone child and the rightful successor. He is intelligent, cunning, and unruly, which makes his servants loathe him. He enjoys the performing and visual arts. He didn't like it at first when his father blamed him for his mother's passing. While he despises Kim Heon and Queen Kim, he is friendly with consort Park. He is seduced by Ra-on.
