Reply 1988 (2015)

A cast of South Korean actors including Lee Hye-ri, Ryu Jun-yeol, Go Kyung-pyo, Park Bo-gum, and Lee Dong-hwi appear in the television series Reply 1988. It starts in 1988 and centers on five friends and their families who live in the same Ssangmun-dong neighborhood in the Dobong District in northern Seoul. It has 20 episodes that were broadcast on tvN every Friday and Saturday from November 6, 2015, to January 16, 2016.

Park Bo-gum as Choi Taek - an internationally renowned genius Baduk player, Taek is the quietest of his neighborhood friends. Taek excels at baduk but has trouble with routine daily duties. Taek is no longer connected to his age group due to his Baduk success, which has earned him wealth and celebrity. As a result, he depends on his neighborhood buddies for friendship, support, and a sense of youth. Taek is overly kind and reluctant to cause a scene, yet during competition, these traits vanish. But when he learns that the person he cares about has a rival, he must choose between passion and friendship.
