Record of Youth (2020)
The South Korean television program Record of Youth features Park Bo-gum, Park So-dam, Byeon Woo-seok, and Kwon Soo-hyun. Every Monday and Tuesday at 21:00 (KST) from September 7 to October 27, 2020, it is broadcast on tvN. It is now streamable globally on Netflix. Sa Hye-jun, a model from a working-class family who aspires to be a great actor, is portrayed by Park Bo-gum in the film. He delays joining the military despite failing multiple auditions and ultimately starts to realize his goals.
In an age where aspirations have become a luxury, this drama explores the evolution of young people who seek to fulfill their ambitions and love without giving up, as well as the impassioned stories of young people who pursue their goals in unique ways while evoking excitement and empathy. Smart and attractive describe Sa Hye Joon. Although he is a decent man and a well-liked model, his true ambition is to become an actor. He has given several acting parts a go, but so far without success. Sa Hye Joon, however, lacks much stage presence. Ahn Jung Ha is a makeup artist in the meanwhile. On the exterior, Jung Ha seems happy and cheery, but on the inside, she is alone, and she vents her loneliness and stress by obsessing about idols.
