Tomorrow's Cantabile (2014)
The Japanese manga Nodame Cantabile by Tomoko Ninomiya served as the inspiration for the South Korean television series Naeil's Cantabile (Tomorrow's Cantabile). The 16-episode drama, which starred Joo Won, Shim Eun-kyung, Park Bo-gum, Go Kyung-pyo, and Baek Yoon-sik, aired on KBS2 from October 13 to December 2, 2014. Following the success of The Heirs in 2013, it was the second co-production between American digital distribution platform DramaFever and a Korean network.
Another drama starring Bo Gum in his early career about a college student majoring in music is called Naeil's Cantabile, more often known as Tomorrow Cantabile. Park Bo Gum plays Cha Yoo Jin's nemesis Lee Yoon Hoo in these dramas. Bo Gum, who plays Lee Yoon Hoo, is a remarkably gifted cellist and was given the nickname "miracles child". He is able to capture viewers' interest right immediately in his role as the second male protagonist in the dramas, and his amazing acting abilities have won over many female fans. People are most drawn to him in the conducting scene because of how passionately he used music to portray pleasure. Another heart-wrenching scenario was when he walked to an empty room and held out his hand. Tears start to fall as he handles the misery alone.
