Lumene, one of the largest manufacturing companies in Finland, is a cosmetics manufacturer situated in Kauklahti, Espoo. Lake Lummenne in Kuhmoinen, Central Finland, inspired the brand's name. The vast majority of Lumene products are designed and manufactured in Finland. Finland, Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, and China are the company's primary markets.

Lumene is a pioneer in the field of circular beauty. Lumene is the leading beauty brand in Finland according to the Sustainable Brand Index 2022. The goal is to develop a long-term leading product portfolio based on circular economy concepts. When compared to the previous launch, the sustainability of each product remodeling is improved. 50% of the 42 Nordic natural ingredients are upcycled from the food and forest industries. Between 2019 and 2021, factory emissions were reduced by 92%.

Lumene reduced the water usage in their products by 40% between 2007 and 2019. Their products feature long-lasting Arctic Spring Water. Before being retrieved through a hole in the ice, the water is filtered via sand and gravel layers. Because of its low mineral content, water serves as a neutral basis for additional active substances. To help minimize water consumption, the firm launched the WaterSmart program in 2010. Lumene reduced its water use in production by 40% between 2007 and 2019.
